New Brunswick Leadership Debate. Débat des chefs du Nouveau-Brunswick

Français suit

I missed the French debate because I was watching the English leaders debate. So much for live TV eh!

I'm sure the French debate was more entertaining. Harrap 6000 has a good post about the English debate. A least the French debate didn't have Allison Brewer reading from her notes! Seriously, how complicated is the NDP platform that she has to read everything.

-Are you in favour of job creation?

Brewer: -Let me read my notes... Says here...yes. Yes, yes I am. Super important.

The Liberal guy, can never remember his name. Shawn something (I watched the debate, honest), anyway, we don't know if he is in favour of raising the minimum wage. He tried to divert to something else. Anyway, I'll have to check out the Liberal platform which was finally posted tonight.

I guess we will have to be content with René Lévesque for our political excitement this September.

I'm not a fan of people picking a "winner" in a debate, but for those you who are, then Bernard Lord won. Shawn Graham didn't do to badly. And Allison Brewer, well, let's just be polite and say she could do better.

Sunday there is an other debate on cable access TV. Tom Green will animate. It will be on right after Wayne's World. A leadership debate to be Premier of New Brunswick on cable access? CTV and Global to busy with summer reruns I guess. 9PM to 10 PM, Sunday September 11. I assume it will be bilingual.
