Where is Harper's Firewall?

Remember when S. Harper worked for the Fraser Institute and wrote that Alberta needed a great firewall to protect it from the federal government?

Well, here are some measures enacted by the Harper Conservative government that clearly infringe provincial jurisdiction.

-The transit tax credit (a huge advantage to suburban train takers of Witby, the finance minister's riding).
-The sports tax credit. There is no federal tax credit for provincial or municipal taxes, but spend money on child sports in jurisdictions that don't finance them as much, you win big.

-The HST bribe. Both British Columbian and Ontario got huge checks for joining the HST regimes. New Brunswick, Nova-Scotia and Quebec? Nada. Also unfair to Alberta, since they can't join (as they have no sales tax).

Can you think of other examples?
